November 10, 2005 ADIOS!
Good afternoon friends!
Details and packing are almost complete. We are leaving tomorrow for our flight to Honduras very early on Saturday. This is the trip we are going for Wilson's high school graduation. Graduation is on the 14th. We will spend the week there returning late on the 19th.
This will be my husband's first international trip and first time to meet Wilson! He is nervous about everything and I'm nervous about them finally meeting. I know it will be fine, but I can remember how I felt the first time I went. I guess it is the fear of the unknown.
Our oldest son, Nic, is going too. He will drive here from Chicago tomorrow morning. He has been to Honduras with me in 2000 and also met Wilson then. He is a seasoned traveler, so I don't think he'll have any difficulties.
My schedule continues to be very busy as the holidays approach. I have worked ahead and tried to stay caught up with orders. (Today I am caught up!) I may not have access to a computer in Honduras, so if you have questions or orders, I will be back on the 19th and will get to them as soon as I can.
Please keep us in your prayers for a safe trip; that my family will understand the passion I've had for Honduras and the close friendship with Wilson. This trip is a dream come true for me after 4 years! I will put an update here when I return.
Fondly, Julie
